Summer Ocean

Since you cannot go to the beach every day, why not bring it to your own home? You can help your daughter decorate her room using the ocean as its theme. Paint the wall with the color reminiscent of the ocean: sky blue. For the floor, you can cover it with a rug that has a texture and color that looks like sand. This will remind her of the feeling she has every summer when you go to her favorite place to spend a few days just enjoying the waves and the smell of the summer’s cool ocean breeze.

Color Power!

This is probably one of the easiest girls room design themes to create in your daughter’s room. All you need to do is ask your daughter about her favorite color or colors, then start buying furniture, decorations, and accessories of her chosen color(s). However, be careful not to fill her room with too many things in the same shade because that will make the room dull and boring. Add a bit of embellishments with rugs, draperies, animals and artwork.
